CET Quater Final - CTK 2 Stockton 6
Stockton played top of the league Christ the king in the quarter final of the telegraph cup and after Stocktons league win 2 weeks earlier it was obvious CTK were in the mood to reverse this defeat, CTK started the better and were creating more chances, after about 25 minutes Stockton started to play and the game became very end to end with eventually Ctk scoring just before half time, the second half started similar with both teams having a go but ctk always looking the more dangerous, the next twenty minutes there was a cluster of goals and everytime Stockton got back in it, Ctk would go up the other end and increase there lead, the last 15 minutes ctk totally dominated and added a further 2 goals making it a final score of Ctk 6 Stockton 2
Stockton 4 Folly Lane Old Boys 2
Game played in difficult conditions, Stockton return to winning ways and were boosted by the return of Craig Watkin and importantly his free kick deliveries. Assistant manager Alan Young commented we expected Folly Lane to physical and not allow us time on the ball, but he was please with a hard fought win against Lane side when not at out best, goals from Rob Crinigan, Nick Mathews, Craig Watkin and Dave Hoppit.

Stockton first half performance was dour where they failed to produce a scoring opportunity, with Witherley playing all the football taking a 2 - 0 lead at half time, Stockton
In the second half Stockton switched to 3-5-2, dominated but were caught on the break conceding a further goal, 3-0 down, but 2 goals from Vince put Stockton back in the game and then hit the bar, Stockton pressed for equalizer but again hit on the counter attack 4-2 game over.

A disappointing Stockton were brought crashing back down to earth with a 3 1 defeat at home to a hard working Bulkington team who took their chances, Stockton failed to press home a series of chances, missed penalty and with better finishing the game would of been out of sight by half time. Paul
Jeffrey scored a screamer but that was the main highlight in what turned out to be a disappointing afternoon for the home side.

Stockton, moved in the semi finals after a comfortable win at Fenny Compton, but in the first 20 minutes both sides missed chances with Fenny hitting the woodwork and inches past the post, has Fenny legs tired Stockton's overall fitness told with goals from Lee Vince 3, Scott Easterlow 3, Chris Watt 1 and Dan Newman 1

Top of the table side Christ The King came to Stockton for an important league game and found themselves 1 0 down in the first ten minutes to a Nick Bailie goal, it was all Stockton and CTK were struggling to deal with the tempo of the Stockton side, but Stockton had to be careful as they were not finishing there chances and only a great one handed save from Gav Campbell kept the score line to 1 0 at halftime.
The second half was the same and Stockton added a second with a great touch and finish from Rob Crinigan and then Lewis Scott added a third to make the game safe with 10 min to go, a great team effort from all Stockton lads

Reserve's off to a New Year winning start and improved as the game progressed with Alvis put under pressure from the start, following good football chances fell to both Tom Hitchcox and Chris Watts, but Stockton opened the scoring with a route one goal with Hitckcox on the end of keepers Arron Tapps clearance, half time 0 - 1.
Within 2 minutes of the start Hitchcox added a second with his pace splitting Alvis defence; further goals were added from Rickie Hasprey and Nick Hammond after some excellent football down the right wing. Solid defensive performance with Alvis restricted to a few chances.

Coventry Benevolent Cup - Semi Final
Stockton Reserves 2 Coventry Copsewood Reserve 1
Stockton had to fight all the way to beat a hard working Coventry Copsewood Reserved Side to progress into the finals of the Coventry Benevolent Cup, Copsewood had the better of the chances in the first 15 minutes their first effort inches away and then forcing Stockton keeper Arron Tapp into a fine save, both sides played an open game with both sides creating half chances, Stockton had a period of domination and a series of free kicks and corners but the delivery was poor, with 2 minutes before half time Copsewood took the lead with a right wing move and cross which was headed home at the near post.
In the second half Stockton upped their game and it was young Scott Watkin who after a fine run down the left hand wing smashed home at the near post, with 10 minutes left Scott Easterlow bagged the winner while grounded turning a loose ball into the net from a yard out, but more drama unfolded with Copsewood searching for an equaliser and a matter of minutes to go Copsewood looked certain to score, but Craig Watkin made a cracking tackle from nowhere and the follow up was cleared by his fellow defender Ross Irvine.

Stockton returned to winning ways in a very physical match against Coventry Copsewood side, the hardworking Lewis Scott open the scoring with a 18 yard volley followed by a second from Nick Ballie after good approach play, half time 2 - 0. Stockton continued to dominate with Luke Cole, Bobby Lea and Paul Wilkinson bossing the midfield, further goals came from David Hoppitt, veteran Chris Watts and capped off by a Craig Watkins penalty an impressive win.

Stockton performance would be bested summed as Jekyll and Hyde, who found Church Lawford goalkeeper on top form, missed series of chances, hit the wood work, disallowed goal and gave the ball away to cheaply and failed to clear their lines, Stockton consolation a penalty from Lee Golding.
Stockton travelled to high flying bedworth ex on Saturday for a very important league game, it was Bed ex who started better and were 1 0 up after ten minutes, Bedworth continued to play the better football and Stockton were lucky only to be 1 0 down at half time, the second half was a different affair and Stockton started to play with confidence creating numerous chances and rattling the underside of the bar twice and having at least 3 good one on one chances, Stockton needed to score in this period but it was not to be, Then with 10 minutes to go Bedworth broke clear and scored their 2nd to seal the game.

After a shaky first 15 minutes, which could reserves then dominated the match right to the very end, the highlight been a hatrick from Matt Anderson. The back four were lead solidly by Lee Golding who scored a penalty and further goals from Ian Shand, Jamie Bodfish, Craig Burrin and Rickie Hasprey.have seen the visitors 2 goals up,

Stockton went to Brooklands last saturday and soon realised they were in a game when Brooklands soon went into a 2 goal lead, only a superb save from Luke Cole prevented the score line from being worse, Dave Hoppit scored just before half time to make it a half time score of 2 1, second half after a few chosen words from manager Tom Young at half time Stockton got into their stride and scored 4 second half goals through Lee, Bailie, Jeffers and Treacy to make it a final score line of 5 2 to Stockton.

Hard fought win for Stockton Reserves who found themselves a goal down after 25 minutes after dominating the game followed by Scott Watkins been sent off 10 minutes later, half time 0 - 1. Stockton remain positive and started to create good opportunities with the equaliser coming from a set piece where Henry Jordon who found Lee Golding in the six yard who brought down the ball turned and fired home, the winner came from the hard working Paul Wilkinson from good wing play from David Colioni.

Stockton travelled to Bulkington last Saturday and were soon 2 0 up with 2 fine headed goals from Dave Hoppit, Bulkington pulled 1 back with a well worked goal only for Craig Watkin to score from the penalty spot to Stockton a 3 1 half time lead.
In the 2nd half Stockton had chances to extend there lead but it was Bulkington who scored under bizarre circumstances with the goal been awarded after the ball went through the side netting much to the amazement of both Stockton and Bulkington players and officials, and with a minute to go they equalized to make a final score of 3 3.
Very close fought game, Stockton had the better of the initial first half exchanges but found Fillongley goalkeeper in fine form and good hands dealing with a series of Stockton free kicks and corners, Stockton took the lead with a bit of magic
A battling performance from a Wardens side who pressed Stockton throughout the match and were lively on the counter attack, it took a penalty to break the dead lock after 30 minutes with Lee Golding putting it away, Rickie Hasprey added a second with a header from corner just before half time, 2 - 0. The score line remained the same for the next 20 minutes with Dan Allum having to be very alert as Wardens pushed for goal.
Coventry Charity Cup - Stockton FC 3 Alvis FC 1
Midland combination side Alvis came to Stockton for the first round of the charity cup and went ahead early from a deflected free kick to give Alvis a 1 0 half time lead and could have had a second hitting the woodwork. In the second half having rode their luck Stockton came out the stronger and were creating the better chances and were eventually rewarded with a goal from Nick Bailie, Stockton continued to dominate both in possession and chances created and finally got there second with 6 minutes to go with a goal from Dave Hoppit, Paul Wilkinson rounded an excellent display by rounding the keeper for Stockton's third. to make a final score of 3 1 to Stockton.

Stockton nearly paid the price for indifferent form, raced into a 2 - 0 lead after the first 25 minutes from a brace by Craig Burrin and then lost their discipline allowing Potters Green to score twice from free kicks, it was clear who scored next would take the 3 points and Stockton had Rickie Hasprey to thank, scoring the winner with 5 minutes left.

Stockton who had been on the road since 20th August finally played their first home league game of the season and beat a very competitive Copsewood side 3 - 1, the first half was scrappy but Stockton edged it and took the lead through Paul Wilkinson, 1 - 0 at half time, both sides up their games but Stockton remained the better side and added a further 2 goals through Paul Jeffrey and a further cracking 20 yard strike by Paul Wilkinson to take all 3 points.
Hawkes Mill Sports 2 v Stockton Reserves 5
A good all-round team performance which saw Stockton beat a high riding Hawkes Mill Sports Reserve 5 - 2 in the CET Junior Cup with David Colioni rich form continuing with a splendid hattrick, further goals from Jamie Bodfish and Rickie Hasprey in a game Stockton dominated from start to finish.

Stockton were forced to make a number of changes due to injuries, though dominating play struggled to take their chances and were forced into extra time before running out winners.

A good win and 3 points for Stockton Reserves, Stockton dominated the first half hitting the woodwork 3 times but found themselves a goal down at half time.
Within 5 minutes of the start Shilton nearly extended their lead but for a smart save from debutant goalkeeper AJ Tapp, Stockton kept pressing and finally their dominance f with goals from Mark Anderson and Paul Wilkinson.

Stockton went to last years champions Christ the King and came away with a good 4 - 2 victory in a very entertaining game. Stockton trailed Kings 1 - 0 until 5 minutes before halftime when Lewis Scott scored 20 yard free kick and on the stroke of half time Craig Watkin scored from the edge of the box.
Kings initially bossed the start of the second half and equalised but in the last 20 minutesStocktonup their game and scored further goals from Lee Scott and Nick Bailie.

A great team performance where Stockton Reserves beat Whitnash in this local derby game,Stocktonlead with strikes from David Colioni and Ian Shand at half time. Gavin Campbell produced a series of fine saves before Colioni added his second goal from the penalty spot, in the last 20 minutes Whitnash laid siege to Stockton goal butStockton held on for all 3 points.

Stockton returned to winning ways with a solid team performance, which saw débuts for Ross Irvine and Andy McKinley. Stockton played against a very strong wind in the first half and had the majority of the play where Carl Laws and Nick Baillie runs caused Ambleside defence problems but with Stockton couldn't produce the final killer ball, half time 0 - 0. In the second Stockton continued their dominance and were rewarded with a goal after 60 minutes from Bobby Lea and a second from Michael Treacy a route one goal when he chased down a long clearance from Mark Rowlands.
Folly Lane 2 - Stockton1
Stockton went to Folly Lane for the 2nd league game and got off to a great start with a well worked goal by Nick Bailie after some good work by Lee Scott. Folly equalised ten minutes later and found themselves in front at half time 2 1 after some indifferent defending by Stockton, the second half Stockton had the wind and most of the possession but couldnt find a way around a resolute follys defence. an indifferent performance byStocktonand improvement is definitely needed.

Stockton Reserves were unfortunate not to come away with a share of the spoils, goal disallowed for a dubious off side and conceded in the last 5 minutes after Dunlop cleared off the line, outstanding performances Dan Allum and Henry Jordon.

Folly came out firing in the second half and should of made it 3 -1 with the first move of the second half when hitting the bar, Folly were the stronger side now and Stockton's defence had to remain strong. Folly were finally rewarded with a goal themselves making it 3 -1 with 15 minutes to go but

On Saturday Stockton went over to Brooklands Jaguar, and it was Brookies who had the first real chance after 5 minutes, Stockton settled down and scored a well worked goal by Nick Bailie, Stockton added further goals through Nick Mathews and Lee Scott to make the half time score 3 0. The second half was a similar affair and Stockton added further goals from Michael Treacy and Dave Hoppitt, final score Stockton 5 Brookland Jaguar 0.

Last Wednesday Tommy Young took his Stockton side over to Daventry United to play his old side, this was an even contest and Stockton scored the only goal of the first half with a Craig Watkin penalty, Daventry came out strong second half and were rewarded themselves with an Ian Waldock header to make the game 1 1. Daventry were on top now and Stockton defence needed to stay strong. Daventry eventually made it 2 1 with 5 minutes to go and that looked like it was going to stay that way, Mark "Rolly" Rowlands had other ideas tho,after good work by Michael Treacy at the edge of the area Rowlands then hit a screamer to make it 2 2. overall another great performance byStockton with good performances by Joe smith and Paul Jefferies in particular.
